Manchester dropped its second straight match of the season on Tuesday night, falling 3–0 on the road to Adrian at Docking Stadium. Despite the loss, goalkeeper Reagan Claus turned in a standout performance, recording 14 saves — 11 of them coming in a busy first half.
Adrian pressed Manchester early, racking up 21 first-half shots and converting twice, both goals coming from Annamarie Fosmoen. The Spartans struggled to generate offense, finishing the night with zero shots and no corner kicks, as they spent much of the match defending in their own half.
Manchester's back line — anchored by Rayne Bell and Sian Rogers — absorbed wave after wave of pressure. Layla Huneck and Delaney Kelly logged heavy minutes in the midfield but were unable to spark an attack against Adrian's organized defense.
The second half saw Adrian add one more goal, completing Fosmoen's hat trick and sealing the 3–0 result. Manchester made numerous substitutions to keep players fresh, but they could not find a way through Adrian's back line or goalkeeper.
Manchester is back in action this Saturday as they welcome IU South Bend to Good Field, 1:00 PM start.
