GRANVILLE, OHIO – A stout Denison University offensive attack proved too much for Manchester University Saturday, Aug. 30.

The Big Red, moving to 2-0 on the season, rifled off 40 shots against the Spartans (0-2) with 11 finding the visitors' goal en route to an 11-0 non-conference win at Barclay-Thomsen Field. Five different Black and Gold offensive players managed shot attempts with four being saved, as sophomore midfielder Allie Moore (Richmond, Ind.), senior midfielders Amber Kent (Fountaintown, Ind.) and Sofie Tzortzinis (Ann Arbor, Mich.) and freshman forward/midfielder Courtney Hersick (Plymouth, Ind.) had efforts turned away.

Manchester University continues its slate by opening its home schedule Tuesday, Sept. 2, against in-state non-league rival Trine University.
