WESTERVILLE, OHIO – Senior forward Brandy Crouse (Cleves, Ohio) and sophomore junior midfielder Jessica Sanchez (Fort Wayne, Ind.) each registered multiple shot attempts, guiding Manchester University in its visit to Otterbein University Saturday, Sept. 19.

Crouse struck five tries at the Cardinals' goal, while Sanchez ended the 90-minute contest with two as part of nine total attempts for the Black and Gold (2-3). Otterbein took advantage of a strong first half offensive attack, tallying seven goals in the opening 45 minutes, in route to a 9-0 victory.

MU's underclasswoman goalkeeper trio of freshmen Caroline Smith (Mason, Ohio), Cami Holford (Valparaiso, Ind.) and sophomore Megan Erwin (Attica, Ind.) combined for five saves.

Manchester University continues the non-conference portion of its 2015 campaign Wednesday, Sept. 23. Huntington University comes to Spartan Soccer Field for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
