Box Score NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Manchester University men's hoops squad dropped an HCAC matchup against Bluffton on Wednesday night in Stauffer-Wolfe Arena by a final score of 55-42.
Manchester struggled to gain a footing in Wednesday's game as the Spartans were held to just 8 points in the first half on 2-18 shooting. For the game, thhe Spartans shot 31.7 percent (13-31) from field-goal range.
Abdul Ogunnaike (Richton Park, Ill./Thornwood) led the Black and Gold with a double-double, ending with 10 points and 10 boards.
Bluffton shot 36.7 percent from field-goal range (18-49) and made 92 percent of its free throw attempts (12-13). Andrew Renner led the Beavers with 21 points. He went 8-15 from field-goal range and made two three-pointers.
The Spartans (8-14, 6-9 HCAC) will take on Transylvania University on Saturday, February 15 at 1 p.m. in Stauffer-Wolfe Arena.
Bluffton won its fifth consecutive game on Wednesday night to improve to 13-9, 9-7 HCAC.
