NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Manchester University Spartans will look to retain the coveted Bronze Ball Trophy for a 10th straight year this weekend when the Black & Gold renew its storied rivalry with the Anderson University Ravens.
The Spartans and Ravens will clash at Macholtz Field beginning at 1:30 p.m.

* The Black & Gold will look to break into the win column this weekend against the rival Ravens.
* The Spartans were narrowly edged on the road last weekend at Defiance, dropping a 22-16 decision against the Yellow Jackets.
* Manchester's young, new-look offense is still trying to find its footing this spring. The Spartans average about 267 yards of offense per game, with about 221 yards of offense coming through the air. Manchester has also utilized a deep rotation of quarterbacks, with four different Spartans taking significant snaps under center.
* 15 different Spartans have caught at least 1 pass this season with Darren Lathrop and Harrington Greer leading the way. Lathrop has 32 receptions and 294 yards receiving this season, while Greer has 19 receptions and 174 yards receiving.
* Defensively, Manchester will have to slow down Anderson's air raid. In two games this spring, Anderson has thrown for 851 yards and six touchdowns.

* Anderson has played just two games this spring. The Ravens fell to Franklin College 55-48 on Opening Weekend and then dropped a narrow 35-27 decision at Bluffton on March 13.
* The Ravens' game against Rose-Hulman on March 20 was cancelled.
* Anderson quarterback Tyson Harley has completed 89-of-129 passes for 851 yards and 6 TDs. Harley has been intercepted 8 times in two games.
* Anderson's defense has surrendered 976 yards of total offense in its two games this spring. The Franklin Grizzlies racked up 617 yards of offense, while Bluffton added 359 yards of offense.
* Head coach Steve Rock is in his third season leading the Anderson football program.
