CARMEL, Ind. – Senior Enrique Salazar (Plymouth, Ind., Plymouth) earned Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week, the league announced Tuesday, October 18^th.
 
Salazar earned HCAC Athlete of the Week honors for men's cross country on Tuesday. The senior competed in the Inter Regional Rumble hosted by Oberlin College on Saturday, October 15^th. During the event, Salazar placed first overall with a time of 24:58.0. Salazar has earned HCAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors four times during his career.
 
The Spartans will compete next at the 2022 HCAC Championships hosted this year by Bluffton University. Race time is scheduled for October 29^th at 12:00 p.m.
