Spartanburg, SC. - NCAA DIII Cross Country held the National Championship races on Saturday. Manchester was represented by Senior runner
Gavin Byerly and Sophomore runner
Chesnee Miller as individual qualifiers.
Gavin Byerly and
Chesnee Miller both placed top-100, with Byerly placing 39th and Miller placing 88th. Miller completed the race with an overall time of 22:44.1 and an average time of 3:26.3. Byerly finished the day with an overall time of 24:42.6 and an average time of 2:43.6.
Byerly's standout performance, not just today but all season, earned him an All-American honor. Byerly becomes the second Men's Cross Country All-American in Manchester history and the second under Cross Country and Track & Field Director
