N. MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Spartans men's soccer team looks to open regular season play this evening at Spartan Stadium at 7:30 pm. They will play host to the Rockford University Regents. This will be the first match up in the history of the two programs. 

Game Notes 

Manchester (0-0) 

* Spartans open the regular season after Friday's scrimmage against Wabash College. 

* Manchester returns at least 11 players who earned varsity minutes last season, including 2nd team all HCAC junior Julian Keough (Indianapolis, Ind. / Pike). 

* Manchester looks to improve on last year's record of 6-10-1. 

Rockford (0-0) 

* The Regents are also opening their regular season after competing in two scrimmages against Judson University and Viterbo University. 

* Rockford ended last season's campaign with a record of 5-11-1. 

* The Regents are heading into their second season under head coach Mike Chwistek.
