Salazar Places First at Wittenberg Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Manchester men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Wittenberg Invitational over the weekend.

In their own respective races, the women's team placed 5^th at Wittenberg, while the men finished 7^th. Leading the women's team was Hannah Brubaker (Goshen, Ind., NorthWood) who placed 4th finishing with a time of 23:26.0 followed by Lauren Smith (Anderson, Ind., Lapel), who placed 11^th and finished the competitive 6k with a time of 24:36.2.

In the men's race, Enrique Salazar (Plymouth, Ind., Plymouth) finished in first place with an end time of 25:57.3.

The Spartans race again on October 1st, at the NCAA Pre-Nationals Meet in East Lansing, Mich. Race time is set for 10am.
