Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Spartans were topped by the Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers in their regular season finale on Sunday, May 7. 

Rose-Hulman swept the Spartans, winning game one 19-3  in seven innings and taking game two 6-5. 

SPARTAN STATS

• Tied 1-1 in the first inning of the opening game on Sunday, Rose-Hulman took the lead for good following a double that drove in three runs. The Fightin' Engineers would take game one by a final score of 19-3 in seven innings. 
• Jackson Todor (Fort Wayne, Ind. , Homestead) pinch hit the seventh inning, driving in two runs off a double. 
• The Spartans took a 4-2 lead after the fifth inning following two home runs by Rocco Hanes (Ossian, Ind., Norwell) and Harrison Pittsford (Ellettsville, Ind., Edgewood). Rose-Hulman would answer, taking the 5-4 lead in the sixth inning. Manchester would again take the lead in the seventh inning following an RBI double by Gavin Gleason (Brookston, Ind., Delphi Community). The Fightin' Engineers would walk-off with game two after an RBI single in the home half of the ninth inning.
• Hanes pitched 5.1 innings for the Black and Gold in game two, scattering six hits with five strikeouts. On the day, Hanes went 6-8 at the plate with two RBI and three extra base hits, including a home run.
• Pittsford hit his 13th home run of the season in game two for the Spartans.
