North Manchester, Ind. - Manchester University Sophomore Max Horner has been named to the 2026 D3baseball.com All-Region VIII First Team as well as the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region VIII First Team, the organizations announced recently.
Horner earns First-Team All-Region honors after a standout campaign in which he started all 37 games for the Spartans and anchored the lineup with one of the most productive seasons in the region. The junior posted a remarkable .445 batting average, tallying 69 hits while driving in 43 runs.
A consistent extra-base threat, Horner recorded 20 doubles, five home runs, and three triples on the year, helping him compile a .710 slugging percentage and a 1.22 OPS. He also reached base at an impressive .511 clip, showcasing his ability to get on base and produce runs at a high level.
Horner's First-Team selections from both D3baseball.com and the ABCA/Rawlings highlight his impact not only within the conference but across Region VIII, as he continues to establish himself among the top players in NCAA Division III baseball.
