CHICAGO, ILL. – Sophomore goalkeeper Brady Forman (Hastings, Mich.) grabbed eight key saves to aid Manchester University in a 1-1 double overtime tie against Illinois Tech Saturday, Sept. 5.

Forman, recording his fifth career outing of five-or-more saves, knocked away the eight attempts from the host Red Hawks in the face of a 31-17 Illinois Tech shots advantage. Sophomore midfielder/forward Travis Richardson (Elizabethtown, Ky.) gave the visitors a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute, tallying his fourth career goal off an assist from sophomore defender/midfielder/forward Tod Oram (Crown Point, Ind.). MU kept the edge until the 74th minute when a corner kick score leveled the contest for good.

The Spartans continue play at Illinois Tech's tournament Sunday, Sept. 6, facing Marian University of Wisconsin at 2 p.m.

NOTES: Oram, Richardson and junior forward Ola Ladapo (London, England) topped the shots' category. They combined for 10 of the squad's attempts with Oram compiling four and Richardson and Ladapo ending with three apiece.
