LEXINGTON, KY. – Junior goalkeeper Brady Forman (Hastings, Mich.) knocked away six Transylvania University shot on goal attempts in the wake of a 13-6 advantage for the home side Saturday, Oct. 15, but the Pioneers got two into the Manchester University net over 90 minutes for a 2-0 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory.

Forman's sixth sheet with four-or-more opponent knockaways kept the Spartans (7-5-2 overall, 1-4 HCAC) close on TU's Athletic Complex pitch. The Black and Gold had a pair of attempts to break on to the scoreboard off the feet of sophomore midfielders Drake DeWitt (Columbia City, Ind.) and Samuel Tetteh-Quarshie (Acra, Ghana) dashed due to saves by the home side net minder.  Junior defender/forward/midfielder Tod Oram (Crown Point, Ind.) guided MU's offensive chart with three total shot tries.

The Spartans close three straight on the road Wednesday, Oct. 19. Kickoff at Defiance College of Ohio is 3:30 p.m.
