MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Manchester's late rally fell hust short as the Lehman College Thunder scored a go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning to secure a 7-6 win on Saturday morning.  LC outlasted the Spartans in 10 innings to move to 2-3 on the season.

Both teams battled back and forth on Saturday morning and the Spartans rallied to tie the game at 6 with a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth.  Nick Rush hit a sacrifice fly that scored Nick Tillman.  Tyler LaFollette then followed with a game-tying single.

The Thunder scored one run in the top of the 10th inning and the Spartans were unable to drive in a tying run.

MU concluded its five game swing down South with a 1-4 record.  Manchester will play a four-game series with DePauw next weekend in Indianapolis.
