Box Score 4 CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Manchester University baseball team picked up a pair of wins in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
On Saturday, the Spartans split a home doubleheader against the Transylvania University Pioneers. On Sunday, Manchester went on the road and earned a twin bill split with the Mount St. Joseph University Lions.

Weekend Notables:
* The Spartans racked up three more games with 10 or more hits this weekend. The Black & Gold finished with 12 in Game 2's win over Transylvania on Saturday. MU finished with 15 and 11 hits, respectively, against MSJ on Sunday.
* Totaled for the weekend, there were 14 instances of a Spartan coming through with a multi-hit effort at the plate.
* Alex Morr (Bryan, Ohio/Bryan) came through with 4 RBI in the 11-1 win over Mt. St. Joseph on Sunday. Hunter Seegers (Westport, Ind./South Decatur) added 2 RBI in the win on Sunday.
* Seegers finished the weekend 7-13 with 2 doubles and 6 RBI.
* Joe Henschel (Huntertown, Ind./Carroll) added a home run and 5 RBI in his return to the Manchester lineup this weekend.
* Carter Hooks (Rochester, Ind./Rochester) matched a career-high by striking out 10 Pioneers in Game 2's 9-5 win over Transylvania on Saturday.
