Box Score 4 NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Manchester University baseball team earned a pair of wins this weekend, splitting its Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheaders against Rose-Hulman and Anderson.
On Saturday afternoon, the Spartans were able to snap the Fightin' Engineers' eight-game winning streak following a 16-6 victory.
On Sunday afternoon, Manchester would add another win against Anderson after downing the Ravens 16-8.

Weekend Notables:
* The Spartans continue to put up stout offensive numbers, plating 41 runs over the weekend.
* The Black & Gold pounded out 39 hits in its four games this weekend.
* Michael Pinarski, Austin Knowles, Jacob Van Pelt, Alex Morr, and Joe Henschel all hit home runs for the Spartans. Knowles homered twice and drove in 5 runs in four games. Morr hit his first career home run against Anderson on Sunday.
* 11 Spartans had multi-hit efforts over the weekend. Pinarski, Henschel, and Paul Barrow all had 3-hit games over the two-day stretch.
* In MU's 16-8 win over Anderson, Carter Hooks (Rochester, Ind./Rochester) threw 6.0 innings, gave up 3 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 9 Ravens. C.J. Williams (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) picked up his fourth win of the spring on Saturday at Rose-Hulman.
