NEW HOLLAND, Mich. - The Manchester men's cross country team traveled to Michigan to compete in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships on Saturday, November 12th.

Overall, the Spartans placed 18th out of 38 teams. 

Junior Connor Havens (LaPorte, Ind., LaPorte) earned All-Region Honors after placing 19th out of 272 total runners. Havens crossed the finish line with a time of 24:47.8. 

Other notable performances for Manchester included Enrique Salazar (Plymouth, Ind., Plymouth) who placed 45th with a time of 25:17.6. Next to cross the finish line for the Black and Gold were First-Years Gavin Byerly (Huntington, Ind., Huntington North) in 115th place with a time of 26.13.9 and Brenden Oden (New Carlisle, Ind., New Prairie)  in 178th place with a time of 27.28.4.
