North Manchester, Ind. - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced this week's Athletes of the week. This week Men's Indoor Track & Field brought home two conference honorees, Brenden Oden for distance and George Myles for throws. 

Brenden Oden ran 4:24.02, a lifetime PR, in the mile at Trine over the weekend. His time is currently second in the conference and the fifth fastest in school history.

George Myles competed in the weight throw and shot put this week. His 16.69m mark in the weight was the longest throw in the conference this week and the second best of Myles's career. His shot put mark of 11.92m was the fourth best throw of his career.
