Carmel, Ind. - Manchester University's men's indoor track and field team earned multiple honors from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) following strong performances during week eight of the 2025–26 season.
Sophomore George Myles was named the HCAC Men's Throws Athlete of the Week after recording a personal-best throw of 17.11 meters in the weight throw. His mark ranks second all-time in Manchester program history.
Senior Gentry Oliver earned two conference honors. He was named the HCAC Men's Jumps Athlete of the Week after posting a long jump mark of 7.03 meters at the Ohio Northern qualifier. Oliver also claimed Men's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week after running a personal-best time of 22.69 seconds in the 200-meter dash, the third-fastest time in Manchester history.
Senior distance runner Gavin Byerly rounded out the honors for the Spartans, earning HCAC Men's Distance Athlete of the Week recognition after closing his indoor career with a time of 8:25.66 in the 3000 meters at Wartburg.
