Career Highlights
* Was a standout on both the Manchester football and baseball teams.
* Team captain in football in 1940 and helped led Manchester to a conference and co-state championship with Butler.
* In 1939, Milliner served as the quarterback in two of Manchester's highest scoring victories (Bluffton 69-7 & Defiance 72-3).
* Two-time All-State selection (1939 & 1940).
* Named to College All-Starr Game by the Chicago Tribune.
* Invited to tryout for the New York Giants in 1941.
* Earned 3 varsity letters as a member of the Manchester baseball team - two-time team captain (1940 & 1941).
