* Earned 8 varsity letters during his Manchester career - earning 4 in both football and track and field.
* Two-time NAIA Honorable Mention All-American in football (1971 & 1972).
* Was a three-time All-Hoosier College Conference honoree in football. (1970-1972).
* Ranks 4th all-time in Manchester history with 277 career tackles. 
* Two-time All-HCC performer in track (1972 & 1973).
* At the time of graduation, held the Manchester and conference high jump record, clearing a height of 6' 8 1/2" in 1972.
* NAIA All-District 21 honoree in track.
