Career Highlights
* Gratz was a central figure in the history of Manchester Athletics during his career that stretched from the early 1960s until the late 1980s.
* Served as Manchester's Athletic Director for 20 years from 1962-1982.
* Was the head baseball coach from 1963 until 1986. His 241 wins rank 2nd all-time in school history. Gratz Field, the home venue of the Spartan baseball program, still bears his name today.
* Also served as the head wrestling coach from 1962 until 1981.
* Served as an assistant football coach from 1962 until 1986.
* Spent 1 year as an assistant track coach in 1987.
