Career Highlights
* The first "Golden Era" of Manchester Men's Basketball came about during the 1930s behind star guard Charlie Beck.
* Beck served as a team captain for the Black & Gold and helped guide the Spartans to an overall record of 46-11.
* Beck was a team captain, team MVP, and led the team in scoring during his Black & Gold career.
* Manchester earned two invites to the NAIA National Tournament (1938 & 1939). The two national tournament invites were the only in Manchester's association with the NAIA.
* Team was coached by legendary head coach Bob Stauffer - who is also a member of the Manchester Hall of Fame.
