* Earned 7 varsity letters during Manchester career - earning 4 in football and 3 in men's basketball.
* Two-time football team captain (1957 & 1960).
* Four-time All-Hoosier College Conference selection in football (1955-1957, 1960).
* Earned All-HCC honors in basketball in 1957.
* Led HCC in total offense (1,278 yards)Â and passing (805 yards) in 1956.
* At the time of his graduation, was Manchester's record holder for total offense, rushing yards, and passing TDs.
* Ranks 6th all-time at Manchester total offense (3,979 yards), 7th in rushing TDs (26), and 10th in passing TDs (17).
* Scored 24 points against Earlham in 1957 which stands as the 3rd-most points scored in a game by an individual.
* Had a tD run of 95-yards in 1956 and a TD pass of 78-yards in 1957.
