Career Highlights
* Dual sport athlete during his Manchester career, starring on both the football and track and field teams.
* Earned 8 varsity letters - earning 4 in both football and track and field.
* Third Team NAIA All-American in 1977 after leading the nation with 11 interceptions.
* Two-time All-Hoosier-Buckeye Collegiate Conference and NAIA All-District 21 selection in football (1977 & 1978).
* Three-time All-HBCC in track and field (1976, 1978 & 1979).
* Three-time track team MVP (1977-1979).
* Track team captain in 1979.
* Placed 12th at the 1978 NAIA National Championships in the decathlon (6,448 points).
