* Set school record in 1968 on the 4 mile course with a time of 20:27. In 1969 broke the school record for the 5 mile course with a time of 25:04.
* NAIA All-American in 1968.
* Three-time All-Hoosier College Conference performer in cross country (1967-1969).
* Three-time NAIA All-District 21 selection in cross country (1967-1969).
* Set Manchester school records for track and field in the mile (4:10.9), 2 mile (9:34.6), and the steeplechase (9:36.7) events.
