Career Highlights
* Earned 8 varsity letters during his distinguished Manchester career - earning 4 in both football and track and field.
* Three-time All-Hoosier College Conference honoree in football (1966, 1967, & 1969) and track and field (1968-1970).
* Three-time NAIA All-District 21 honoree in football (1966, 1967, & 1969) and track and field (1968-1970).
*Â Two-time team MVP in both football (1967 & 1969) and track and field (1967 & 1968).
* Ranks 10th all-time in Manchester history in rushing (10th - 1,952 yards), rushing TDs (8th - 23) and TDs by a non-QB (9th - 23).
* Won conference titles in the triple jump and long jump in 1969.
* Placed 6th in the triple jump at the 1969 NAIA National Championships.
* Placed 8th in the triple jump at the 1968 NAIA National Championships.
* Competed at the 1972 Olympic Trials in the triple jump (posted a mark of 50' 10").
* Still holds the school records in the indoor and outdoor long and triple jump events.
