Career Highlights
* Noted as the "Father of Manchester Football."
* Coached the Spartans on the gridiron for 18 years from 1925-1942.
* Manchester Football went 72-45-8 (.608) and won four state championships (1929, 1930, 1932, & 1940) during his tenure.
* 72 wins and .608 winning percentage still rank as the best all-time in program history.
* Also served as the head baseball coach at Manchester for seven years from 1924, 1926-29, and 1942-43.Â
* Led the Manchester baseball team to a 36-23 (.610) mark.
* Also served as the head track coach for six years.
