Carer Highlights
* Was a multi-sport athlete during his playing days at Manchester, earning a total of 13 varsity letters.
* Earned 4 varsity letters in both football and men's basketball, added 3 varsity letters in track and field, while adding 2 more in baseball.
* Was a three-time All-Hoosier College Conference performer in men's basketball (1952-1954). Earned All-HCC honors in track in 1954.
* Hoffman returned as the head coach of the men's basketball program in 1962, leading the Spartans until 1964.
* He also served as the head track and field coach from 1962 until 1967.
