* Was a four-year letter winner and starter at center for the Manchester offensive line during his playing career at Manchester from 1975-1978.
* Two-time NAIA All-District 21 and All-Hoosier-Buckeye Collegiate Conference honoree (1977 & 1978).
* Co-captain in 1978.
